Job Description
- Assist and contribute in the set up of robust finance/accounting processes for businesses
- Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Preparation of consolidation reporting (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow)
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
- Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
- Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
- Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting position.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
- Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation law
- Excellent business partnering skill, stakeholder management
- Detail oriented, good communication, Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
